Freedom of Information Police Network (FOIPN) – Fall Seminar

On behalf of the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police, the FOIPN is providing a three-day workshop for Police Freedom of Information Co-ordinators, Analysts and Clerks, on September 25, 26 and 27 at the Port Hope Golf and Country Club, 82 Victoria Street South, Port Hope.  LEARN will follow on September 28.  Day one will be a Beginner Course.  Day two and three will provide hands-on case studies and special guest speakers from the Ministry of Government Services and Police Legal Advisor’s Committee of the OACP.   This information may be beneficial for your FOI Co-ordinators and Records Management staff.

Registration is limited to 35 participants for Beginner Level Training (Day 1) and 50 participants on Day 2 and Day 3.  Preferred registration for the Beginner Training will be given to those new to FOI.  Last day to register is August 15.
